Mark Davis

At the age of 27, Mark decided to leave the family upholstery business in Shreveport, LA and fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a Police Officer.  In 1990, after applying and being accepted, Mark began his career at the Shreveport Police Department’s 500+ man agency.  After 2 ½ years on patrol, he was accepted to the Street Level Narcotics Division where he spent approximately 10 years as a narcotics investigator as well as a member of the S.W.A.T. Team where he eventually became Team Leader.

Mark has participated in over 400 “high risk” warrants as well as barricade suspects and hostage rescue missions.  Mark became a S.W.A.T. instructor and has participated as an adjunct instructor for the U.S. State Department’s “Anti Terrorism’s Assistance Program” where his duties entailed training Police Officers from all over the world in S.W.A.T. tactics.   In 2004, Davis was assigned to the F.B.I. Violent Crimes Task Force and in 2006 he was promoted to Group Supervisor with the DEA’s Shreveport Regional Office where he stayed until his retirement in August of 2015.   Mark and Kathy, his wife, have 2 sons and a beloved Dachshund “Murphy”.
